AC installation technician — Lawrence County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an AC installation technician in Lawrence County, Illinois. You will work on residential and commercial sites. Ideal candidate: • Own set of hand tools, gauges and flaring kit preferred • Presentable and polite with customers on site • Can read electrical and piping schematics Day-to-day duties: • Install ducting, grilles and VRF/VRV branch boxes • Run and lag the condensate drain line with the right fall • Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum • Check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge • Fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter • Commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow Six days a week, one day off.
