What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing Your main tasks: • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss 6+ years on the tools preferred.
