Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Jones County, South Dakota. The role involves: • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings Ideal candidate: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
