Gtaw welder • Brule County, South Dakota

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Brule County, South Dakota. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. The role involves read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Performance bonus on top of base pay.
