Urgent requirement: we are hiring an auto body repairer in Guthrie County, Iowa. Day-to-day duties: • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer Requirements: • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
