Sample machinist wanted in Saint Landry Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sample machinist in Saint Landry Parish, Louisiana. Day-to-day duties: • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Part-time with flexible hours.
