Safety inspector — Sedgwick County

Now hiring: we are hiring a safety inspector in Sedgwick County, Kansas. You will work on a high-rise building project. On the job you will handle: • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate 3+ years on the tools preferred. $170 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
