Cement mason • Decatur County, Iowa

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cement mason in Decatur County, Iowa. You will compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
