Immediate opening: RCC mason (Tennessee)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a RCC mason in Hancock County, Tennessee. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. You should have: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Day-to-day duties: • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $160 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
