Now hiring: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Pope County, Arkansas. You will be based on the moulding line. You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings On a typical shift you will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $9,250 per project, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
