Heavy goods vehicle driver — Geneva County

Join our team: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Geneva County, Alabama. The job is at a container freight yard. The role involves plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards. You should have: • Valid digital tachograph card • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
