MIG/MAG welder • County of Flintshire, Wales

Vacancy available: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in County of Flintshire, Wales. You will be based at a steel fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes The role involves set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
