Immediate opening: vertical transportation technician (Pennsylvania)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. You will be based in a residential tower block. You will set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables. Requirements: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts.
