Sheet metal press operator wanted in San Luis Obispo County

Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in San Luis Obispo County, California. You will be based at an auto components factory. Requirements: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred Day to day you will record output and downtime on the production sheet; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
