Concrete finisher — Guernsey County

Join our team: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Guernsey County, Ohio. You will work in a residential housing project. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds On the job you will handle: • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
