GTAW welder — Alcona County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Alcona County, Michigan. Day-to-day duties: • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer You should have: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Six days a week, one day off.
