Gtaw welder • Divide County, North Dakota

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Divide County, North Dakota. The role involves: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion You should have: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
