Urgent requirement: we are hiring a natural stone fabricator in Morgan County, Illinois. You will be based on a residential building site. You should have: • Reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team • Own hand tools an advantage • Confident operating a bridge saw, angle grinder and diamond blades Day-to-day duties: • Work from cutting lists and installation drawings • Level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades Full-time with occasional weekends.
