Join our team: we are hiring a head butcher in Victoria County, Texas. You will work at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Requirements: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day On the job you will handle: • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Season and marinate meat on request • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $4,200 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
