Immediate opening: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Pend Oreille County, Washington. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal On a typical shift you will carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
