Refrigeration field service technician • Dickinson County, Iowa

Immediate opening: we are hiring a refrigeration field service technician in Dickinson County, Iowa. The job is at a food processing plant. Day to day you will check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution; replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves. What we are looking for: • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $11,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
