Dozer operator — Ovia North-East

Immediate opening: we are hiring a dozer operator in Ovia North-East, Edo. The job is on a dam or embankment job. On the job you will handle: • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels Ideal candidate: • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain Full-time, day shift.
