Steel erection rigger wanted in Terrell County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Terrell County, Texas. You will work on a high-rise building site. What we are looking for: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Day-to-day duties: • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
