Immediate opening: we are hiring a production line inspector in Crockett County, Tennessee. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. Requirements: • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection Your main tasks: • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation 3+ years on the tools preferred.
