Pipe tig welder • Cibola County, New Mexico

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Cibola County, New Mexico. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. Your main tasks: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through We offer $160 per day plus benefits.
