We are recruiting: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Josephine County, Oregon. Your main tasks: • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles Requirements: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
