GTAW welder — Atoka County

Join our team: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Atoka County, Oklahoma. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. The role involves inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through. What we are looking for: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
