Semi-automatic welder • Franklin County, North Carolina

Immediate opening: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Franklin County, North Carolina. You will work at an automobile body shop. The role involves: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions Requirements: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
