Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry operative in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. Requirements: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry You will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
