Elevator repair technician wanted in Hood County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Hood County, Texas. The job is in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. The role involves: • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Part-time with flexible hours.
