Site carpenter wanted in Fairfield County

Now hiring: we are hiring a site carpenter in Fairfield County, South Carolina. The job is at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. Day to day you will lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together. Requirements: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
