Furniture maker • Clay County, Arkansas

Immediate opening: we are hiring a furniture maker in Clay County, Arkansas. You will be based in a bespoke joinery workshop. On a typical shift you will fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level. You should have: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Good eye for detail and a clean finish Six days a week, one day off.
