Now hiring: we are hiring a PVC window fabricator in Nash County, North Carolina. You will work at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash You should have: • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience.
