Ideal candidate: • Awareness of workshop health and safety • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills Day to day you will vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres; handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies; log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement; keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres; replace faulty valves and reset TPMS sensors; inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills.
