Sand plant operator wanted in Caswell County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Caswell County, North Carolina. You should have: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards The role involves check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
