Ceramic tiler wanted in Ottawa County

Join our team: we are hiring a ceramic tiler in Ottawa County, Michigan. You will be based in a kitchen and bathroom refurbishment. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) Day-to-day duties: • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
