Body shop technician — Baraga County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a body shop technician in Baraga County, Michigan. Your main tasks: • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line What we are looking for: • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines Rotating shifts.
