Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar fixer in St. Clair County, Missouri. What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Day-to-day duties: • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
