GTAW welder — Richmond County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Richmond County, Virginia. You should have: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination You will read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
