Day to day you will feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray; buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair; mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place. What we are looking for: • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
