Immediate opening: gas service engineer (Iowa)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Pocahontas County, Iowa. You will be based at a heating and plumbing contractor. On the job you will handle: • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser Requirements: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Driving licence for travel between sites Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
