We are recruiting: confectioner (Michigan)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a confectioner in Mecosta County, Michigan. You will grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; score the top of loaves before baking; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
