Sheet metal welder — Archer County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Archer County, Texas. The job is on a structural steel site. On the job you will handle: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec Requirements: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
