Immediate opening: sand plant operator (Akwa Ibom State)

Now hiring: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Oruk Anam, Akwa Ibom State. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Day-to-day duties: • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand Rotating shifts. ₦200,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
