Great opportunity: rebar installer (Texas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar installer in Trinity County, Texas. You will work on a busy residential building site. Day to day you will form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; assemble column and beam cages on the bench. What we are looking for: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Full-time, day shift.
