Cement mason • Billiri, Gombe State

Now hiring: we are hiring a cement mason in Billiri, Gombe State. The role involves lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer. You should have: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers 2+ years on the tools preferred.
