We are recruiting: general labourer (North Carolina)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a general labourer in Polk County, North Carolina. You will be based with a civil contractor. Ideal candidate: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Physically fit and comfortable working at height The role involves: • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $25 per hour, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Share your details and we will call you back.
