Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine Your main tasks: • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
