Urgent requirement: argon welding operator (Kansas)

Join our team: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Barber County, Kansas. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. On the job you will handle: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
