Requirements: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium You will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; carry out 6G pipe welds where required.
